Agents prepare. Attorneys approve.

§ 01The matter workspace

Every form, document and date — in one matter.

Case management that agents actually work inside. The questionnaire, the passport scan, the I-485 and the receipt notice live in one matter, and every prefilled field is one click from the page it came from. When two sources disagree, the agent stops and asks you.

Illustration: the immigration matter workspace. Left, the filing package and matter checklist. Center, I-485 Part 1 prefilled with a source on every field and a date-of-birth conflict flagged. Right, the passport page the facts came from and the agent activity log. Sample data.
  1. Source on every field.

Each value is linked to the page, line or answer it came from. Click a chip and the page opens beside the form.

  2. Flags, not guesses.

When the questionnaire and the passport disagree, the field is held. Nothing gets averaged or silently “fixed.”

  3. One answer, every form.

Resolve a fact once and it updates across the whole package, so the I-130 and I-485 can’t drift apart.

§ 02Workflow · marriage-based AOS

Sample workflow

I-130 · I-130A · I-485 · I-864 · I-765 · I-131, filed concurrently for the spouse of a U.S. citizen.

A marriage-based green card, from questionnaire to interview.

Eight steps, six agents and one gate. Agents hand the work to each other inside the matter. The gate belongs to the attorney.

  1. i.IN

    Collect

The Intake Agent sends each spouse a bilingual questionnaire and a document list. It collects passports, birth and marriage certificates, prior I-94s, tax transcripts and pay stubs, then flags gaps and translation needs.

“14 of 16 documents · 2019 transcript and certified translation requested”

  2. ii.FM

    Prefill & cross-check

The Forms Agent prefills the full package. It checks every name, date and address across forms, confirms current editions and fees, and flags issues such as income that may call for a joint sponsor.

    “6 forms · 214 fields sourced · 1 conflict held for review”

  3. iii.EV

    Assemble evidence

The Evidence Agent builds the bona fide marriage packet: joint lease, commingled finances, captioned photos and affidavits, indexed with an exhibit list.

    “38 exhibits · 212 pages · index generated”

  4. iv.DR

    Draft the cover letter

The Drafting Agent writes the cover letter and table of contents in your firm’s style, citing exhibits by number.

    “Cover letter · draft 1 · firm template ‘AOS-Spouse’”

  5. v.

    Attorney review

The whole package lands in your approval queue, with sources beside every fact. Edit, send back or approve for filing. Signatures and filing stay with your firm.

“Approved for filing by attorney of record”

  6. vi.DK

    Track

The Docket Agent reads each I-797 notice as it arrives, logs receipt numbers, calendars biometrics and interviews, and watches for an RFE.

“Biometrics notice detected · Nov 6 · calendared”

  7. vii.RS

    If an RFE arrives

The deadline is calendared and the issue is outlined with cited sources. Responsive exhibits are pulled and a response is drafted. It goes back to the attorney, like everything else. See the RFE path

“RFE response due Dec 4 · draft ready for review”

  8. viii.CL

    Prepare the client

The Client Agent drafts interview-prep material and status updates in the client’s language. You approve them before they’re sent.

“Interview prep guide (ES) · pending approval”

§ 03USCIS forms

Typed once, by the client. Checked everywhere.

A form library that maps questionnaire answers to fields is only the starting point. The Forms Agent reads the documents themselves, fills the forms from them, then audits the package the way a careful paralegal would on the night before filing.

  • A

    Prefill from documents

Passports, I-94s, birth and marriage certificates, tax transcripts and pay stubs are read directly, and every value carries its source.

  • B

    Cross-form consistency

Names, dates, addresses and prior marriages are compared across the I-130, I-130A, I-485, I-864 and I-765 before you see them.

  • C

    Editions & fees

Each form is checked against the current USCIS edition and fee schedule, and an outdated edition is flagged before it causes a rejection.

  • D

    Eligibility signals

Issues are surfaced for your judgment, such as household income below 125% of the poverty guidelines or a gap in address history. The agent doesn’t decide them.

Illustration: the Forms Agent’s I-864 household-income check and package audit, with sample data.
§ 04Client questionnaires

Your client answers in their language. You review in yours.

Questionnaires are designed for multilingual intake, starting with Spanish. Each spouse gets their own link, plain-language questions and a document checklist that updates as they upload. Answers come back translated for the attorney, with the original kept beside every field.

Illustration: the client-facing questionnaire in Spanish on a phone, with sample data.

  • Per-person linksPetitioner, beneficiary and joint sponsor each answer only what applies to them.
  • Smart follow-upsA “yes” to a prior marriage opens the questions about its end date and the divorce decree.
  • Gentle remindersReminders for missing documents are drafted by the Client Agent and sent once you approve them.
  • Conflict checksAnswers that contradict a document or another spouse are held for you, never overwritten.
§ 05Evidence packets

A bona fide marriage packet, indexed before lunch.

The Evidence Agent sorts every upload into the categories adjudicators expect. It dates and captions photos, removes duplicates, numbers the exhibits and builds the index your cover letter cites. Gaps are flagged while there’s still time to fill them.

Illustration: an indexed bona fide marriage evidence packet with exhibit tabs, page counts and two flags, with sample data.
§ 06Requests for Evidence

An RFE arrives. The response is already taking shape.

The moment a Request for Evidence enters the matter, four agents pick it up in sequence. By the time you open it, the deadline is on the calendar. Each issue has been outlined with sources, responsive exhibits are pulled and a first draft is waiting for your judgment.

§ 07Attorney in the loop

Nothing goes to USCIS without you.

Agents prepare packages, letters and client messages. Licensed attorneys decide what is filed, what is sent and what is signed. Every item waits in your approval queue with its sources until you sign off.

  • 01

Approval gates on every form, letter and client message.

  • 02

Agents never sign. Preparer, attorney and G-28 sections stay with your people.

  • 03

Flags, not guesses — conflicting facts are held, never smoothed over.

  • 04

A full audit trail of what each agent read, wrote and handed off.

JurisAgent is software for attorneys. It does not provide legal advice or file on anyone’s behalf.

Illustration: an immigration approval queue with four items awaiting attorney review, with sample data.
§ 08Case status tracking

Every receipt, biometrics date and interview, on one docket.

The Docket Agent reads every I-797 that comes in. It logs the receipt number, calendars the appointment and moves the matter forward. It also drafts the client update for you to approve. Across your caseload you can see what moved, what’s stuck and what’s due.

§ 11Questions

An immigration question we missed?

Write to [email protected] or book a demo on a sample marriage-based matter.

Immigration questions, plain answers.

Does JurisAgent file with USCIS?

No. JurisAgent prepares the package: forms, evidence, cover letter and drafts. Your attorneys review, sign and file it through whatever channel your firm uses. Nothing is filed or sent without attorney approval.

How does it keep up with form editions and fees?

The Forms Agent is designed to check each form against the current USCIS edition and fee schedule before a package reaches your queue. It flags anything outdated for your team to confirm, and never swaps a form silently.

Which languages do client questionnaires support?

Questionnaires are designed for multilingual intake, starting with Spanish. Answers are translated for the attorney with the original kept beside each field. Documents in other languages are flagged for a certified English translation.

What happens when sources disagree?

The field is held and flagged with both sources shown, for example a questionnaire date that differs from the passport. An attorney or a supervised staff member resolves it, and the answer updates every form in the package.

Does it give legal advice or decide eligibility?

No. Agents surface signals for your judgment, such as income that may require a joint sponsor or a gap in address history, with the sources behind them. Eligibility and strategy decisions belong to the attorney.

Is our client data used to train AI models?

No. Client data is used only to do work on your matters. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access follows matter-level permissions. Read about security.

Less re-keying. More advocacy.
